Phaktanglung Education Foundation (PEF) School is a trusted and growing academic institution located in Kanakai Municipality Ward No. 7, Jhapa District, Koshi Province, Nepal. Established on 2066/01/02 B.S. by the dedicated founder Shantimaya Samekham Limbu, the school is named after Mt. Phaktanglung (Kumbhakarna Himal), symbolizing strength and excellence in education.

The school is well-managed under the leadership of School Management Committee Chairman Mr. Durga Nembang and Principal Mr. Om Bikram Nembang. As of 2082 B.S., the school has successfully educated around 500 students with the help of 30 experienced teaching staff and 9 non-teaching staff. Since its establishment, the school has proudly produced 10 academic batches of SLC and SEE graduates, who are continuing their studies with confidence and success in higher education.

Following the slogan “Education is a Child-Centered Process,” PEF focuses on the overall development of each child.
